Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Associate – Material Movement II to join the Launch Complex 36 team in Cape Canaveral, FL. You will manage parts flow, inventory accuracy, and staging for launch activities, collaborating with technicians and engineers for timely operations.

The role requires hands-on handling of parts, adherence to safety standards, and complex coordination across planning, purchasing, and quality teams. A shift-flexible, weekend schedule is possible in a fast-paced launch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must read, write and follow directions in English.
• Self-starter with minimal guidance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in varied environments.
• Experience with ERP systems (Costpoint or SAP).
• Desire for associates/bachelor’s degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve customers to prevent work delays due to parts.
• Forecast part needs; transfer inventory to launch pad.
• Maintain inventory labeling, storage, handling, and packaging.
• Perform cycle and annual inventory counts; resolve discrepancies.
• Kit parts for work orders; handle packing and transactions.
• Inspect/receive parts back to stock from work orders.
• Coordinate with Quality and Purchasing on procurement issues.
• Assist with returns (warranty, RMA) and shipping coordination.
• Operate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, tools, computers).
• Follow 5S and safety practices in all areas.
