Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Associate – Material Movement II at Launch Complex 36, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL. You’ll join a fast-paced logistics team handling parts receipt, kitting, staging, and real-time inventory control to support New Glenn integration and launch activities.

You’ll work closely with engineers and technicians, maintain accurate ERP records, and ensure timely delivery of kits and parts to the work cells while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must read, write, and take direction in English.
• 5–7+ years in aerospace/space or manufacturing industries.
• Self-starter with minimal guidance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers to prevent delays due to parts.
• Forecast part requirements and move inventory to the launch pad.
• Maintain inventory with proper labeling, storage, and handling.
• Perform cycle and annual inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Kit parts to work orders and transact parts from inventory.
• Coordinate with planning and purchasing to meet daily requirements.
• Inspect and receive parts returning to stock; work with Quality and Purchasing to resolve issues.
• Operate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) and use ERP data effectively.
• Keep work areas clean and safe following 5S practices.
