Job summary

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a Lease Up Coordinator in Florida to lead leasing and operational launches for new affordable housing communities. You will drive occupancy goals, set up leasing offices, and ensure move-in readiness while delivering outstanding resident service.

This travel-based role supports multiple sites across the state, coordinating with construction, asset management, and housing agencies to ensure HUD/LIHTC compliance and a professional, service-oriented

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with LIHTC and affordable housing.
• Experience leading lease-up or new property operations.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing and Landlord-Tenant laws.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead lease-up and stabilization to achieve occupancy goals.
• Coordinate on-site operations, vendor coordination, and move-in readiness.
• Serve as liaison between on-site teams, corporate, ownership, and partners.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC and other affordable housing regulations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff.
