Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Combustion Devices Intern in Long Beach, CA. You will assist in designing, analyzing and testing combustion devices, while gaining experience with GD&T drafting, data processing and testing.

Work alongside mentors to design hardware, fire up engines, and support launch-site activities across the U.S. You’ll collaborate with a fast-paced, cross-functional team and participate in regular progress reviews, tech talks, and intern events.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in engineering/physics/math with at least one semester left.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with your mentor and teammates to apply engineering knowledge and grow technically and professionally.
• Solve real challenges in a fast-paced group of professionals.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates.
