Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Automotive experience in a vehicle assembly plant.
• Prior experience handling a unionized work force.
• Safety and Quality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring projects against schedule within agreed costs and deadlines.
• Coordinate product transfers and ensure requirements are captured in project plans.
• Determine manufacturing strategy with functional managers.
• Define packaging requirements and strategy.
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for purchasing decisions.
• Conduct validation activities for new equipment and processes.
• Coordinate end-of-life equipment disposition per policy.
• Maintain annual layout and supplier PPAP status for traceability and audit readiness.
• Participate in Lean/FPS initiatives and grow into Industrial Engineering tasks.
• Report on key risks and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Lead milestone meetings and document outcomes for owners.
