Job summary

Exol is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own day-to-day execution for high-velocity, automated cross-dock sites during pre-launch, go-live, and stabilization. You will lead large teams of hourly associates, validate WMS/WES functionality, and drive launch KPIs in a fast-paced startup environment.

The role requires coordinating with IT, Supply Chain, and Automation while maintaining safety standards under OSHA and delivering scalable playbooks for repeatable site replication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years in 3PL warehouse or distribution center operations, high-volume cross-dock or transshipment.
• Experience with automated warehouses (sortation systems/MHE) and WMS/WES platforms.

Responsibilities

• Operational Capability Testing: Validate systems and processes with SAT and integrated testing.
• Cross-Dock Business Ownership: Serve as the primary ops owner for cross-dock functions during launch.
• Playbook Development: Document lessons learned and standardize processes for future site replication.
• Large-Scale Team Leadership: Direct large teams of hourly associates and frontline leaders to meet throughput targets.
• System Validation: Verify WMS/WES functionality and monitor real-time transactions to troubleshoot bottlenecks.
• Safety Leadership: Enforce OSHA compliance and conduct audits in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Project Management: Manage launch priorities, labor planning, shift balancing, and cross-functional coordination.
