Job summary

CAMAG Scientific, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused professional to join our team as Area Manager for Latin America. The role blends customer service, sales support, technical service, installation, and training across the US and Latin America.

Based in Wilmington, NC, the position requires travel and the ability to work with distributors and CAMAG headquarters in Switzerland to deliver exceptional service and grow regional presence.

Qualifications

• Fluent Spanish required; Portuguese is a plus.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to understand and work with technical/scientific products.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. and internationally; passport required.
• Experience with laboratory equipment, analytical instrumentation, electronics, or technical service desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, technology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for US and Latin America: first-line technical support.
• Respond to product questions, provide quotes, assist with orders, and resolve concerns.
• Coordinate cross-border shipping, customs clearance, and delivery schedules with logistics.
• Provide on-site installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, and customer training.
• Maintain accurate CRM records for customers, sales, and service activities.
• Collaborate with sales, service, logistics, and CAMAG HQ to ensure excellent service.
• Act as CAMAG CSI's Area Manager for Latin America, building distributor relationships.
• Monitor distributor performance and plan annual sales targets per region.
• Plan yearly Latin America visits to support distributors and customers.
