Job summary

Referment, a Florida-based firm, seeks a corporate transactional attorney for its Miami practice with an existing portable book of business. The role focuses on corporate and cross-border matters, serving clients with domestic and international interests in Latin America.

The ideal candidate will draft and negotiate business agreements, handle trademark-related issues, and cultivate ongoing client relationships in a collaborative firm setting. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.

Qualifications

Florida Bar admission is required.
At least five years of corporate and international business experience in private practice.
Established portable book of business with clients/work to bring.
Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
Experience with cross-border transactions in Latin America (Mexico, Brazil, Peru).
Excellent legal writing, drafting and client communication skills.
Experience with trademark-related matters in corporate/commercial context.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on corporate transactions and international business matters.
Draft and negotiate business agreements.
Contribute to matters where trademark considerations intersect with commercial work.
Maintain and develop client relationships you bring to the firm.
