Job summary

Goodwin’s Global Operations Team seeks a Senior Manager / Director of Lateral Partner Recruiting to lead searches, manage priorities, and coordinate with partners and search firms. You will drive market research, candidate materials, and process improvements to move searches forward efficiently.

The role requires strong recruiting judgment, project management and outstanding communication with stakeholders, all within a global operations context.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in attorney recruiting with partner recruiting exposure.
• Experience supporting complex searches, market intelligence and business development is preferred.
• Strong research, analytical and quantitative reasoning to identify growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to define scope, criteria, stakeholders and timelines for searches.
• Oversee day-to-day lateral partner searches from launch to onboarding and handoffs.
• Conduct market mapping across firms, practices and geographies; refresh target lists.
• Prepare candidate summaries, business cases, and committee materials.
• Develop tailored recruiting messages and presentation content communicating the firm's value.
• Coordinate with management, finance, conflicts, and other teams to gather required information.
