Job summary

Quarles & Brady LLP is seeking an experienced Lateral Conflicts Analyst to process conflict-of-interest requests for lateral attorney candidates and other prospective hires. The role involves reviewing conflicts reports, identifying ethical conflicts, and collaborating with Conflicts Counsel, the General Counsel's Office, and Recruiting to ensure timely clearance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of conflicts-of-interest experience at a mid-size

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High level of accuracy, discretion with confidential information.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong internet research skills.

Responsibilities

• Create conflict reports identifying issues involving lateral attorneys and candidates.
• Review questionnaires, work lists, and board memberships to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Support conflicts clearance with Conflicts Counsel and Recruiting Department.
• Conduct corporate research to identify affiliates and business risks.
• Maintain organized candidate files and provide status updates.
• Ensure proper identification and communication of conflicts before start dates.
• Manage onboarding conflicts process from start to finish.
• Use Intapp Wallbuilder to establish ethical screens as required.
• Prepare screening memoranda and monitor matters for ongoing need of screens.
