Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a Lateral Conflicts Analyst to own the conflict research and onboarding checks for new and lateral attorneys. You will work under the firm's Deputy General Counsel to resolve ethical conflicts prior to hiring and support portable client matters as needed.

The role requires at least two years of conflicts analysis experience and familiarity with lateral conflicts. It is a hybrid role with standard 40 hours per week, and may involve ethics screening and process

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of conflicts analysis experience required.
• Experience with lateral conflicts analysis required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare initial conflicts summaries and identify potential conflicts for lateral attorneys and non-lawyers.
• Provide support to sponsoring attorneys in resolution and clearance of conflicts and drafting of waiver letters.
• Maintain and organize candidate files and provide status updates on short notice.
• Expedite opening of priority portable clients with lateral partners.
• Work with the Deputy General Counsel to ensure conflicts are identified and communicated prior to start date.
• Ensure ethics screens are erected for new lateral hires in collaboration with CNB Senior Manager.
• Coordinate with sponsoring attorneys, recruiting staff and candidates as needed.
• Facilitate communication between CNB and Information Governance/transfer teams regarding onboarding of lateral files.
• Assist with other duties related to conflicts of interest and routine new business.
• Support the CNB Senior Manager with research requests and special projects.
• Prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
