Job summary

Quarles & Brady LLP is seeking an experienced Lateral Conflicts Analyst in Denver to process conflict-of-interest requests for lateral attorneys and prospective hires. You will review reports, identify ethical risks, and work with Conflicts Counsel, General Counsel’s Office, and Recruiting to clear conflicts.

The role supports a hybrid work model with potential for fully remote arrangements. Candidates should have at least two years in conflicts at a law firm, strong analytical skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of conflicts-of-interest experience at a mid-size or large law firm.
• Experience with database software; Intapp Open strongly preferred.
• High accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality in handling information.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create conflict reports and summarize issues for lateral candidates.
• Review questionnaires, lists, and affiliations for accurate documentation.
• Support conflicts clearance with counsel and Recruiting.
• Conduct corporate research to identify affiliates and ownership structures.
• Communicate with Recruiting and General Counsel’s Office; maintain files.
• Verify that conflicts are resolved, waivers or ethical screens applied.
• Elevate difficult conflicts to senior staff as needed.
• Coordinate conflict identification before start dates.
• Manage onboarding conflicts and clearance for new matters.
• Use Intapp tools to establish ethical screens for incoming lateral hires.
