McGuireWoods LLP in Chicago is seeking a Lateral Attorney Recruiting Assistant to support day-to-day lateral attorney recruiting efforts. You will partner with recruiting managers, recruiting specialists, attorneys, search firms, and candidates to deliver an efficient and seamless recruiting experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate's or bachelor's preferred.
• Two+ years of administrative experience, preferably with recruiting/HR/legal/professional services.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
• Confidentiality and discretion with exceptional customer service.
• Proactive problem-solving and adaptability.
• Collaborative team player with recruiters, attorneys, candidates, and staff.
• Willingness to work with innovative technology platforms, including Harvey AI.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all lateral attorney interview scheduling, itineraries, and logistics.
• Serve as confidential point of contact for candidates, attorneys, search firms, and internal teams.
• Prepare offer materials, candidate correspondence, and onboarding documentation.
• Maintain applicant tracking systems, recruiting databases, and candidate files; update statuses as directed.
• Coordinate new hire documentation and orientation logistics with HR and other departments.
• Arrange candidate travel, accommodations, and meals; process reimbursements, invoices, and vendor payments.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other materials as requested.
• Partner with HR, Professional Development, Finance, Marketing, and other teams on recruiting activities and projects.
• Identify opportunities to enhance administrative workflows and efficiency.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization and proactive communication.
