Job summary

Middlebury College's Midd at Night program seeks a student staff member to plan, market, and run late-night and weekend programming, offering engaging, safe options during peak social hours. The role blends event planning, hands-on production, and promotion, with most live events set for Thursday–Saturday after 10 PM.

You will collaborate with the campus activities team, handle setup and breakdown, promote events campus-wide, and track attendance and reach.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student in good academic standing.
• Available to work late-night shifts (Thursdays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays).
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express) or social media management.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm, propose, and develop event concepts aligned with student interests and department goals.
• Draft event proposals, run-of-show timelines, logistics checklists, and arrange staffing as needed.
• Set up and break down events, log equipment, and ensure smooth operation.
• Promote events through campus channels and monitor attendance and engagement.
• Work late-night hours and maintain strong communication with supervisors.
