Job summary

Cargolux is seeking an experienced operations professional based in Houston, TX, to manage and optimize administrative processes across stations in the Americas. The role supports the Head of Operations, The Americas, including Latin America stations, OSSA, GSA, GHA and subcontractors.

The candidate will supervise ground handling agents and suppliers, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate service delivery. Regular travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Education in Aviation Management, Business Administration or Logistics is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years in airline, cargo, ground handling or airport operations.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, ground operations, safety and quality standards.
• Experience supervising operational suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ability to train and support teams across locations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize admin processes across stations while ensuring policy compliance.
• Support Head of Operations, The Americas for Latin America area oversight.
• Identify training needs, negotiate handling agreements, and secure licenses.
• Monitor expenses, enforce purchasing policies, and represent the company in meetings.
• Ensure safe, compliant ground operations and oversee service providers.
• Coordinate road feeder services and monitor supplier performance via SLAs.
• Ensure flight ops support services align with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain EASA documentation retention and provide regional guidance.
