Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks an experienced Sales Contracts Director to ensure the contractual integrity of global customer agreements within the LatAm & Caribbean BU. You will draft, negotiate and amend contracts reflecting commercial and technical obligations while controlling costs and risks.

You will coordinate with Airbus teams worldwide, monitor fulfillment, travel up to 50% for business, and brief management on negotiation progress.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience with international commercial teams.
5+ years of negotiation in an international context.
Knowledge of contract law in an international context.
Master degree in business, or international contracts law.

Responsibilities

Participate in defining commercial strategy, sales objectives and business rationales.
Draft, negotiate with customers and amend sales contract documents to reflect mutual obligations and internal approvals.
Ensure contracted obligations and returns align with Airbus constraints and BU objectives, including profitability and risk.
Monitor fulfillment of customer obligations and renegotiate contracts as requirements change.
Provide information on negotiated commitments to relevant Airbus entities and offer clarifications as needed.
Validate business control sheets to verify contractual integrity of transactions.
Ensure risk and obligations are acceptable to Airbus and approved.
Brief line management on negotiation status in a timely and succinct manner.
