Job summary

Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services is seeking a Contract Specialist to draft, negotiate, and manage contracts in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure compliance with legal, financial, and company standards while supporting internal stakeholders and customers.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and attention to detail, with exposure to airline/MRO contracting practices and related software tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years contract experience, or an Associate’s with 4 years, or 6 years in a related field.
• Demonstrated contract drafting and negotiation experience and knowledge of legal/financial practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-level collaboration.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts per company policies and requirements.
• Ensure contracts meet legal, financial, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to support contract execution.
• Maintain contract records and manage lifecycle activities (modifications, renewals, closeout).
• Communicate contract status and risks to stakeholders.
