Job summary

Amazon Last Mile Technology (LMT) is seeking software engineers to design and scale critical delivery systems that power Amazon’s logistics network. You will contribute across design, development, testing, and operations while collaborating with central operations and peer teams to deliver high-impact software.

Ideal candidates have strong problem-solving skills, customer focus, and a track record of building reliable, distributed systems in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• The team will be focused on designing and implementing solutions to help Last Mile operations team to scale and operate efficiently in the increasingly complex delivery network.
• They will learn about Amazon’s logistics network, interact with central operations and peer engineering teams to build optimized systems, and have the autonomy to deliver software that has a broad impact.
• As a key member of the engineering team, you will influence product strategy by helping define features, refine architecture, and set best practices.
