Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for the Routing Platform in Bellevue, WA. You will own technical design, implement scalable services, and deliver end-to-end solutions for Last Mile routing on AWS.

You'll work with Step Functions, Lambda, Fargate, DynamoDB, and other AWS offerings. The role requires mentoring engineers and coordinating cross-team initiatives within a critical logistics domain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Science partners to translate business requirements into technical design.
• Lead projects to deliver new features, improve system architecture, and efficiency of transportation solutions.
• Define the technical vision for the team and ensure it is followed day-to-day.
• Advise principal engineers and participate in cross-organizational technical design.
