Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced Last Mile Site Leader/Area Manager for our California operation (Oakley). You will coordinate flow between haulers, delivery teams, call center and client management to ensure on-time, accurate home deliveries.

The role requires on-site leadership with travel as needed, strong communication and analytical skills, and a focus on vendor relationships and process improvement. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow between Haulers/Delivery Teams/Call Center and Local Client Management Teams.
• Provide on-site presence to ensure Haulers/Delivery Teams follow procedures on a daily/weekly basis.
• Oversee recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships; address shipping discrepancies and in-home damage claims.
• Interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery performance.
• Maintain monthly operation reports including statistics and customer service scores.
