Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Last Mile Site Manager for Hazelwood, MO to oversee daily operations on-site and ensure seamless delivery to customers. This role requires coordinating with haulers, delivery teams, and client managers to maintain service levels and logistics accuracy.

You will lead recruitment and performance of haulers, manage vendor relations, and resolve shipping discrepancies while maintaining monthly operational reports and customer satisfaction metrics.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business and market.
• Strong problem solving and reasoning abilities to deal with a variety of problems and come up with creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow between Haulers/Delivery Teams/Call Center and Local Client Management Teams.
• Provides on-site presence on daily, weekly, or bi-weekly basis to ensure Haulers/Delivery Teams are following procedures.
• Oversees recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers.
• Develops and maintains relations with vendors.
• Ensures follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims.
• Interfaces with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery for customers.
• Maintains monthly operation reports that include statistics and customer service scores.
• Other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for a Last Mile Site Manager in Hazelwood, MO! Candidates with Last Mile management experience are strongly preferred.

Pay Range:

$90k-$100k per year $_*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
