Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Last Mile Site Manager in Hazelwood, MO to coordinate flow among haulers, delivery teams, and client management. You will maintain vendor relationships, oversee recruitment, and ensure on-site compliance with procedures for timely, accurate in-home deliveries.

Ideal candidates have strong math, analytical and communication skills, with demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience in last mile operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates with Last Mile management experience are strongly preferred.
• Excellent mathematical skills, with the ability to calculate figures and amounts like discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business and market.
• Strong problem solving and reasoning abilities to deal with a variety of problems and come up with creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow for communication between Haulers/Delivery Teams/Flatbed Drivers, Call Center and Local Client Management Teams
• Provides on-site presence on daily, weekly, or bi-weekly basis to ensure Haulers/Delivery Teams are following procedures
• Oversees recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers
• Develops and maintains relations with vendors
• Ensures follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims
• Interfaces with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery for customers
• Maintains monthly operation reports that include statistics and customer service scores

Pay Range:

$90k-$100k per year

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
