Job summary

RXO in Phoenix is seeking a Last Mile Operations Manager to lead daily carrier operations, optimize routes, and coordinate closely with customers to ensure reliable delivery service.

You will hire, train, and mentor staff, enforce company policies, and manage performance, scheduling, and issue resolution across the network. The role demands hands‑on leadership and a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5 years of logistics and supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or similar.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers and maintain schedules.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach goals and train on policies.
• Carry out interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies, procedures, and programs.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Identify problem areas and restructure routes to improve efficiency.
• Train and develop contract carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure timely completion and accurate work with proper photo documentation.
