Job summary

RXO is seeking a Manager, Last Mile Operations in the United States to oversee daily carrier operations and route planning. You will mentor staff, hire and train teams, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining high service levels.

The role requires strong supervisory experience in logistics and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Availability for varied shifts and travel between branches is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers, including schedules and routes.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach goals, train on policies and procedures.
• Carry out managerial duties: interviewing, hiring, and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Supervise employees per laws and company policies.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Identify problem areas and restructure routes for efficiency.
• Train contract carriers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure work is completed accurately within set time frames.
