Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Georgia is seeking a motivated Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff across First/Last mile operations. You will engage your team during shifts to uphold safety, quality, attendance, and performance, while ensuring customer orders are delivered on time to the correct locations.

This role emphasizes mentoring, cross-team collaboration with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overnight

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of hourly employees.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Work in environments with varying noise, temperatures, and outdoor loading areas.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and overnight shifts.
