Job summary

nLIGHT is seeking Manufacturing Technicians to operate and sustain high-volume production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement for semiconductor diodes lasers, optics, and fiber devices.

Schedule varies: Thursday-Saturday and Wednesday 5A–5:15P. Starting pay by level ranges from $22.93–$28.70/hr for Technician I and $24.45–$31.80/hr for Technician II, with benefits from day one and a comprehensive package including retirement savings, insurance, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ MSIII or 1+ year in high-volume production with electronics, semiconductor equipment, or opto-mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to acquire job skills and follow company policies and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, operate and maintain automated production tools to ensure high quality, throughput and utilization.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; collect data and communicate tool status and solutions.
• Define and execute routine maintenance and calibrations; support continuous process improvements.
