Job summary

Resonetics is seeking an experienced operator to support the Production group in setting up and operating equipment in a process development or limited production environment. Responsibilities include setup of repeat work, training staff, preventive maintenance, documenting process conditions and results, and quality reporting.

The role may temporarily become a Laser Operator as workload requires, with 2nd shift hours from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, in Blaine, Minnesota.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or Equivalent.
  • 5 years of relevant experience operating complex test or mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Mechanical and analytical aptitude.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment within primary job functions.
  • Experience in programming G code or similar languages.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
  • Strong math skills and ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Operate laser systems per procedure or instruction under varying conditions.
  • Set up production level laser machining jobs to prescribed conditions.
  • Train others on processing conditions and requirements.
  • Provide process demonstrations to clients.
  • Provide assistance and troubleshooting for production issues.
  • Support Start-up activities through Documentation Generation, Equipment Investigations, Maintenance needs and Job Safety Assessments.
  • Analyze and document data and procedures.
  • Take ownership of assigned activities with a focus on quality.
