Job summary

O'Neal Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled laser operator to set up and run fiber and CO₂ laser cutting machines in a fast-paced production environment in Ohio. You will load materials, read work orders, and verify part quality while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Measure finished parts using tape measures, calipers, or gauges to ensure quality.
• Make adjustments to machines to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Support team members and production goals as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate fiber and/or CO₂ laser cutting machines

• Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements accurately
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Bonus Experience

• Bonus Experience with lasers, CNC machines, or metal processing
• Blueprint reading experience
