SendCutSend is seeking a CNC Laser Operator to operate and support CNC laser equipment, ensuring precision-cut parts and adherence to customer specifications. The role emphasizes machine setup, operation, inspection, and material handling on a hands-on production floor.

You will collaborate with team leads to meet daily targets, perform routine maintenance, and uphold LEAN/5S standards in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience with CNC fiber lasers and Amada equipment is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic knowledge of CNC systems and machine controls.
• Ability to read production drawings and flat patterns.
• Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Preferred: experience operating CNC fiber lasers and Amada equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings for proper laser and brake setup.
• Measure parts using gauges and inspection tools to verify angles, dimensions, and overall accuracy meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles.
• Assist with inventory of tooling such as punches and dies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Description

As a CNC Laser Operator, you will operate and support CNC laser equipment to produce precision-cut and formed sheet metal parts. This is a hands‑on role focused on machine setup, operation, inspection, and material handling. You will work closely with team leads, supervisors, and department managers to ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to customer specifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC fiber lasers
• Experience with Amada equipment
• Forklift experience
• Prior work in a sheet metal or fabrication environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shifts
• Ability to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipment

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production floor environment
• Work performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipment
• Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materialsUse of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
