Job summary

SendCutSend Inc in Arlington, TX is seeking a CNC Laser Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers, load and unload parts, and verify programs, tooling, and material before runs. You will perform startup and routine maintenance and read 2D/3D drawings to ensure accuracy and customer specs.

You will work with team leads to meet daily production goals, maintain a clean, safe 5S environment, and assist with tooling inventories. This is a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing role.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of CNC systems and machine controls.
• Ability to read production drawings and flat patterns.
• Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers.
• Load material and unload finished parts from machines.

• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles.
• Assist with inventory of tooling such as punches and dies.

As a CNC Laser Operator, you will operate and support CNC laser equipment to produce precision-cut and formed sheet metal parts. This is a hands-on role focused on machine setup, operation, inspection, and material handling. You will work closely with team leads, supervisors, and department managers to ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to customer specifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic knowledge of CNC systems and machine controls
• Ability to read production drawings and flat patterns
• Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC fiber lasers
• Experience with Amada equipment
• Forklift experience
• Prior work in a sheet metal or fabrication environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shifts
• Ability to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipment

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production floor environment
• Work performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipment
• Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materials
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
