Job summary

Kelly Services in Brockton, MA is seeking an experienced Laser Machine Operator for 2nd shift. The role requires setup and operation of laser cutting equipment in a fast-paced shop, handling varied jobs from simple to complex.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of laser operating experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read/edit machine programs. Training on AMADA Lasmac/EMLK3610 equipment is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate AMADA Lasmac cutting machine cells and EMLK3610 equipment.
• Set up standard and special tooling.
• Download programs and make edits when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve laser machine problems.
• Use gauges and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and meet close-tolerance requirements.
• Inspect work before first-piece inspection and at required intervals throughout the job.
• Enter job quantities and labor information into the computer system.
• Perform basic machine and computer operation tasks.
• Operate a forklift when needed.
• Perform some lifting as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $24–$25 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM

Position Summary
