Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires experience with optical fiber preparation, splicing, and fiber‑optic assembly.
• Ability to operate laser test power, optical spectrum, pulse waveform, pulse duration and repetition rate.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and test procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, and characterize pulsed fiber laser systems during manufacturing.
• Measure output power, spectrum, pulse waveform, duration, repetition rate, and beam quality.
• Troubleshoot laser systems and identify root causes for corrective actions.
• Assemble and integrate fiber‑optic and electro‑optical components into lasers.
• Document results, root cause investigations, and corrective actions per procedures.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to improve reliability and processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Regular attendance and overtime as needed.
