Job summary

Responsibilities include assembling and aligning optical components, testing laser heads, and ensuring quality through precise documentation in a clean room setting.

The candidate should have optical schooling or equivalent experience, hands-on tool proficiency, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with safety and quality

• Craftsman level with hand tools and light power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, bond, and test free-space optical assemblies and laser heads in a clean room environment.
• Align and integrate optical components (lenses, mirrors, beam splitters, others).
• Operate laser systems and optical test equipment to verify performance.
• Document assembly, testing, and inspection results per procedures.
• Troubleshoot assembly and alignment issues with engineering to implement solutions.
• Follow clean room safety and quality procedures, including laser safety and ESD.
