Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the production of large power transformers at our new factory. You will drive safety, quality, and cost efficiency while coordinating with technicians and planning weekly production activities.

The role offers hands-on development opportunities in a startup-like facility with international travel during the launch phase, decreasing as operations stabilize.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing supervisory role (energy/industrial setting preferred).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support launch activities.

Responsibilities

• Define high-performance team culture while adhering to manufacturing guidelines.
• Oversee production activities and production planning based on EHS, quality, and weekly schedules.
• Lead EHS evaluations and Quality Gates with technicians and drive continuous improvement.
• Track KPIs, assess task progress, and implement mitigation for deviations.
• Develop and implement technician development plans to boost performance.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, QA, and CyberSec protocols across operations.
