Job summary

Siemens Energy is building a brand-new transformer manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will design and optimize processes, lead the early setup, and help launch a high-performance site.

You will collaborate with global teams, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to safe, scalable, and compliant manufacturing operations. This is an entry-to-mid level role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medium or large power transformer manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, project management, or industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for large power transformer production.
• Lead facility setup, process design, and ramp-up activities for a greenfield Charlotte site.
• Collaborate with global teams to introduce new ideas and innovations in manufacturing operations.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements across operations.
