Job summary

DCG ONE in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking a Large Format Press Operator to run and maintain 3.2 Meter UV Hybrids, Flatbeds, and 64-inch Roll-to-Roll Printers. This role requires ensuring high-quality outputs and following work orders in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of experience operating Large, Wide, or Grand Format Printers.
• Knowledge of printing workflows and RIP software is a plus.
• Public Trust Security Clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Large Format Printers: efi Vutek, efi Q3H XP, Canon, Epson
• Occasionally operate ancillary Large Format Equipment: Kongsberg, Fotoba, Seal
• Build and maintain a strong understanding of Print media and output techniques.
• Precisely follow work orders.
• Track quantities and versions printed.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance machine routines.
• Inventory and order Ink and Consumables.
• Communicate Print requirements to the Prepress Department.
• Contribute to Team workshops and training events.
• Attend and participate in team production meetings.
• Identify and assess quality defects in Media and Print.
• Follow standard protocols and contribute to the development of new internal processes.
• Provide exceptional service and support to the sales and project management teams.
• Handle heavy Rolls and Rigid Sheets of Printing Media.
