Job summary

DCG ONE in Seattle is seeking a Large Format Operator to run and maintain a range of wide-format devices, including 3.2 meter UV hybrids and flatbeds. You will follow work orders, monitor quality, and communicate machine conditions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a flexible, third shift candidate who can handle overtime and weekend work, with a team-centered mindset and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience operating large, wide, or grand format printers.
• Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, RIP’s, and/or Workflow Software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates Large Format Printers: efi Vutek, efi Q3H XP, Canon, Epson
• Occasionally operate ancillary Large Format Equipment: Kongsberg, Fotoba, Seal
• Build and maintain a strong understanding of Print media and output techniques.
• Precisely follow work orders.
• Track quantities and versions printed.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance machine routines.
• Inventory and order Ink and Consumables.
• Communicate Print requirements to the Prepress Department.
• Contribute to Team workshops and training events.
• Attend and participate in team production meetings.
• Identify and assess quality defects in Media and Print.
• Follow standard protocols and contribute to the development of new internal processes.
• Provide exceptional service and support to the sales and project management teams.
• Handle heavy Rolls and Rigid Sheets of Printing Media.
