Large Capital Project Manager/Program Manager

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
- Leading several cross-functional project teams to deliver capital investments greater than $10M USD from initial scoping through project completion
- Working with global business partners to define project requirements and identify the most cost-effective solutions with an owner’s mindset
- Leading project execution to meet the stated cost and schedule objectives through development of project execution plans and owning the estimating, scheduling, and change management processes
- Maintaining effective communication and alignment with the project team and stakeholders throughout our stage gate process
- Assuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety standards to deliver robust, safe solutions
Your Skills And Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start). IT and real estate experience is not a fit for this role
- Ten (10) years of combined experience in capital project management and capital project engineering roles in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Five (5) years of experience developing designs, equipment specifications, and construction packages in a private, public, government or military environment
- Five (5) years of previous work experience working on projects > 10M and proactively identifying potential risk, implementing mitigation strategies, and communicating about these risk across stakeholder teams
- Five (5) years of work experience with verbal and written communication and influencing leaders at the VP, SVP, and CXO level
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include
- Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical engineering degree
- PMP Certification
- Track record of successful project leadership in a stage gate capital deployment model
- Prior experience with webline, converting, automation, chemical processing and/or discrete part handling equipment
Work location
- This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the nearest 3M location
Travel: May include up to 30% domestic/international
Relocation: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $164,612 - $201,193, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
