AOC Outreach Services in Texas is seeking a Contracted Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) to provide and supervise mental health services for children and adults. The clinician writes scripts for QMHP-CS and supervises QMHP staff to ensure services align with best practices and program guidelines.

  • Attend monthly clinician overview meetings and ensure timely documentation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Licensed Clinician (LPC, LCSW) As the clinician, you write the script for each QMHP-CS. The clinician will supervise QMHPs to ensure they are on the right track in each client's case with services. The clinician is very important here at AOC Outreach Services. The following are the roles and responsibilities:

  • Supervising QMHP groups, alternating groups bi-weekly with supervision forms submitted with 48 hours
  • Staff and sign 90- day documentation for QMHP client caseloads (Quarterlies and ISPs)
    Approving CANS every 90 days in CMBHS and completing discharge CANS
    Completed & Approved within 48 hours
    Conducting QMHP-CS Clinical Supervision of alternating groups weekly
    Supervision notes turned into Lauris ERM for review by the Clinical Director within 48 hours
    Updating work calendar with available times weekly per QMHP-CS Clinical Supervision
    Reviewing and approving 90-day documentation for QMHPs in Lauris ERM:
    Quarterly Form
    ISP Form
    Communicating with Clinical Director and Director of Operations weekly to discuss updates
    Once-a-month Clinician overview meetings
    Reviewing and Approving Lauris Documentations within the required time of 48 hours
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

The incumbent in this position does not have supervisory responsibility. However, he or she may be expected to provide leadership and instruction to volunteers and/or less experienced staff.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have/be:

  • Bilingual capacity with ability to provide services in English and/or Spanish
  • Working knowledge of state and agency policies and procedures
  • An active license from the state Texas Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Knowledge and experience with evidence-based practices, including trauma-informed care framework.
  • Knowledge and experience working with co-occurring populations (chronic health conditions, mental health and substance use) with emphasis on children and adolescents.
  • Strong clerical/administrative skills, including personal computer skills (Microsoft Office software).
  • Ability to make routine decisions and determine proper action based on experience within the limits of policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrated oral/written skills in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures, ages and economic backgrounds in a culturally competent and sensitive manner.
EDUCATION:

Must have completed a Masters degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. One of the following licenses is required (must be fully licensed to practice independently without supervision):

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
