Job summary

AOC Outreach Services seeks compassionate LPC-A and LMSW therapists to join our outpatient behavioral health team. You will provide individual, family, and child therapy in office/outpatient and in-home settings.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, and current LPC-A licensure in the applicable state.
  • Master's degree in Social Work with current LMSW licensure in the applicable state.
  • Eligible for clinical supervision toward independent licensure as required by state regulations.
  • Experience with children, adolescents, families, or behavioral health populations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and/or child therapy in outpatient and in-home settings.
  • Utilize developmentally appropriate play therapy and counseling activities.
  • Apply CBT, trauma-informed, and other evidence-based interventions to address mental health concerns.
  • Provide family therapy to improve communication, relationships, and parenting skills.
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Establish measurable treatment goals and monitor client progress.
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; document progress and discharge summaries.
  • Collaborate with parents, schools, physicians, case managers, and other team members.

Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilledLPC-A and LMSW therapists to join our outpatient behavioral health team. This position provides individual, family, and child-focused therapy in bothoffice/outpatient and in-home settings.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, and families and is comfortable utilizing a variety of evidence-based and developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches. Services may include play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, trauma-informed therapy, behavioral interventions, and supportive counseling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and/or child therapy in outpatient and in-home settings.
  • Provide developmentally appropriateplay therapy and therapeutic activitiesfor children.
  • UtilizeCognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)and other evidence-based interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
  • Provide family therapy focused on improving communication, relationships, parenting skills, and family functioning.
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Establish measurable treatment goals and monitor client progress.
  • Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered services.
  • Address concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties, trauma, grief, adjustment concerns, family conflict, and other mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, schools, physicians, case managers, and other members of the client's treatment team when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and discharge summaries.
  • Maintain professional and ethical boundaries in accordance with applicable licensing requirements and organizational policies.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
  • Provide crisis assessment and intervention within the scope of training, licensure, and organizational protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Education

LPC-A:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field from an accredited program.
  • CurrentLPC-Associate/LPC-Alicense in the applicable state.
  • Must be eligible for and/or actively receiving clinical supervision toward independent licensure, as required by state regulations.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or behavioral health populations preferred.

LMSW:

  • Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program.
  • CurrentLMSWlicense in the applicable state.
  • Clinical supervision toward advanced/independent licensure may be provided or coordinated as applicable.
  • Experience providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, or families preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
  • Comfortable providing services in clients' homes and community settings.
  • Knowledge of child development and family dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong clinical writing and documentation skills.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes, if required.
  • Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus.
