Job summary

STI is seeking a motivated IT Deployment Technician to join the IT Deployment Team in Tennessee. You will deliver, install, configure laptops and related hardware, and support end users across multiple locations.

This role requires a customer‑oriented mindset, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to travel within Tennessee. A high school diploma is required; certifications are a plus, and a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus.
• Prior experience in IT deployment, hardware installation, or similar role preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, and configure computers.
• Prepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deployment.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment deployment and status.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely.
• Follow safety procedures and best practices during deployment activities.
• Communicate effectively with end users and team members.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of deployment storage areas.
• Travel to different sites across Tennessee; travel expenses reimbursed by state guidelines.
