Job summary

Uintah School District in Utah seeks a Student Intervention Aide at Lapoint Elementary. This voucher position offers up to 29.5 hours per week with no benefits. Applicants must be 18+ and will support students with learning activities and data collection.

Preferred candidates have an Associate’s degree or 48 college hours, or are willing to pass the ParaPro test upon hire. Open until filled with start date for the 2026/2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Willingness to pass ParaPro test upon hire is required or expected.

• Be responsible for the education of assigned students.
• Create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and growth.
• Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community.
• Assist with data collection.
• Assist with recess and/or bus duty as needed.
• Work cooperatively with staff to ensure a safe and pleasant learning environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school administrator.

• Create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth;
• Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community;
• Assist with data collection;
• Assist with recess and/or bus duty as needed;
• Work cooperatively with all staff to insure a comfortable and pleasant working environment that will be conducive to learning and will encourage safety and good relationships;
• Other duties as assigned by school administrator.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma;
• Experience working with at-risk students preferred but not mandatory;
• Must hold Associate's degree or have 48 semester hours of college credit OR must have passed or be willing to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire.
