Job summary

Uintah School District's Naples Elementary is seeking a Literacy Aide for a part-time, voucher position up to 29.5 hours per week with no benefits.

Responsibilities include supporting students' education, assisting with data collection, and helping with recess or bus duty as needed, while maintaining a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate's degree or 48 college credits preferred or willing to pass ParaPro.
• Must pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire.

APPLICANTS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma;
• Experience working with at-risk students preferred but not mandatory;
• Must hold Associate's degree or have 48 semester hours of college credit OR must have passed or be willing to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire.

• Copies of college transcript(s) if available;
• A minimum of three letters of recommendation, including at least one from a direct supervisor (does not have to be a current supervisor), which address candidate's skills at working effectively with students, parents, staff and community members.

SALARY: As per district Teaching Assistant Salary Schedule
