Job summary

Uintah School District in Lapoint is seeking a Student Intervention Aide at Lapoint Elementary. This voucher position is up to 29.5 hours per week and carries no benefits. Applicants must be 18 years or older and ready to contribute to student support and classroom activities.

Key duties include assisting with education, data collection, and coordinating with staff. Beginning date is the 2026/2027 school year or as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associate's degree or 48 semester hours of college credit is acceptable.
• Must have passed or be willing to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the education of assigned students.
• Create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth.
• Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community.
• Assist with data collection.
• Assist with recess and/or bus duty as needed.
• Work cooperatively with staff to ensure a safe, pleasant learning environment.
• Other duties as assigned by school administrator.

• Other duties as assigned by school administrator.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma;
• Experience working with at-risk students preferred but not mandatory;
• Must hold Associate's degree or have 48 semester hours of college credit OR must have passed or be willing to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire.
