Job summary

Uintah School District is seeking an Intervention Aide at Eagle View Elementary. This position offers up to 29.5 hours per week as a voucher role with no benefits, starting ASAP.

Responsibilities include supporting student education, creating flexible, growth-minded classroom activities, and collaborating with staff, parents, and the community to foster a safe learning environment. Paraprofessional requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Experience with at-risk students preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have 48 college hours or an Associate's degree, or pass ParaPro test.

District Expectations For Classroom Aides

• Be responsible for the education of assigned students;
• Create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth;
• Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community;
• Assist with data collection;
• Assist with recess and/or bus duty as needed;
• Work cooperatively with all staff to insure a comfortable and pleasant working environment that will be conducive to learning and will encourage safety and good relationships;
• Other duties as assigned by school administrator.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma;
• Experience working with at-risk students preferred but not mandatory;
• Must hold Associate's degree or have 48 semester hours of college credit OR must have passed or be willing to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire.
