Uintah School District at Eagle View Elementary is seeking an Intervention Aide to support instructional activities for assigned students and assist with classroom routines.

This voucher position offers up to 29.5 hours per week, with no benefits. Candidates must be 18 or older and may need to take the ParaPro test after hire. The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, data collection, and maintaining a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associate degree or 48 college credits preferred.
• Must pass or be willing to pass the ParaPro test upon hire.

District Expectations For Classroom Aides

• Be responsible for the education of assigned students;
• Create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth;
• Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community;
• Assist with data collection;
• Assist with recess and/or bus duty as needed;
• Work cooperatively with all staff to insure a comfortable and pleasant working environment that will be conducive to learning and will encourage safety and good relationships;
• Other duties as assigned by school administrator.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma;
• Experience working with at-risk students preferred but not mandatory;
• Must hold Associate's degree or have 48 semester hours of college credit OR must have passed or be willing to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire.
