As the Golf Landscaper/Greenskeeper at Washington National Golf Club, under the supervision of the golf course superintendent, assistant superintendent, or foreman, you will perform routine manual labor related to golf course maintenance. This includes semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work, operating small hand-powered equipment, and occasionally handling larger machinery such as tractors, fairway units, triplex mowers, and walking mowers.
The characteristics of the work environment include physical activities such as lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping, and arm-hand coordination. You should be able to lift approximately 50 pounds occasionally. The environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, weather conditions, and occasionally to high places, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and vibration.
