Congressional Country Club is seeking Team Members for Landscaper positions on the Golf Courses and Grounds Team. Congressional Country Club is looking for hardworking Team Members who want to work in a great team environment. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the role:

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily tasks necessary to keep the maintenance facility clean, organized, and safe.
• Clean machinery and fuel equipment after each use.
• Inspect all machines before, during, and after use, and report any deficiencies to the Equipment Technician or Manager.
• Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage.
• Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools.
• Haul or spread topsoil or straw over seeded soil to hold soil in place.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge trimmers, or axes.
• Perform tasks including but not limited to walking greens, tees, approaches, and collars, mowing steep banks, bunker faces, small turf areas, trimming trees and shrubs, ball mark repair, and divot filling.

Typical Hours:

6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Saturday-Sunday 6:00-10:00 a.m.
