Grounds Technician will help to keep White Barn Inn beautiful by maintaining trees, flowers, shrubs, and more.

Company Description

A beloved local landmark for over 150 years, White Barn Inn is known for warm New England hospitality, rustic charm, and attention to detail. Built in the 1860s, the inn has offered superb hospitality since the Civil War era. Since 1973, it has operated as the White Barn Inn. In October 2018, it was acquired by Auberge Resorts Collection, a portfolio of boutique luxury hotels and resorts. Located just 90 minutes north of Boston, it features various room types, a pool, spa treatments, gardens, and is near the beaches and town of Kennebunkport, Maine.

Qualifications

• Plant and tree care: planting, maintaining, and trimming trees, flowers, shrubs, and bushes
• Landscape bed maintenance: edging, mulching, spraying, weed pulling, hand watering, irrigation, minor lighting
• Lawn care: mowing, edging, seeding, fertilizing, watering lawns
• Equipment maintenance: operating and repairing equipment like chainsaws, blowers, and mowers
• Groundskeeping: raking leaves, mulching, laying sod, caring for features like benches, fountains, and planters
• Snow and storm removal: clearing walkways, parking lots, yards, and storm cleanup
• Other tasks: erosion control, ensuring grounds are safe for events, transporting tools and supplies
• Physical requirements: lifting 20 lbs continually, 50 lbs occasionally; working in all weather conditions; reliable transportation
• Decorating for events and holidays
• Interior plant care as needed
• Greenhouse and garden work as needed
• Performing maintenance duties as required
