Job Type: Full-Time

Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (hours may vary seasonally)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay: $17.00/hr

Job Summary

We seek a passionate individual to maintain gardens, lawns, and landscapes. Responsibilities include cultivating herbs, landscape care, and assisting with plant installations. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, and organic fertilization.
  • Regularly mow, trim, and irrigate lawns.
  • Safely use hand tools for weeding and pruning; store tools properly.
  • Ensure landscapes look their best by soil preparation, fertilizing, mulching, weeding, pruning, and transplanting.
  • Operate groundskeeping equipment safely under supervision.
  • Support farm crew as needed to meet production goals.
  • Prune and fertilize trees and shrubs appropriately.
  • Assist with irrigation system maintenance and repair.
  • Follow safety procedures and attend safety training.
  • Model safe work habits and support safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Follow detailed instructions orally or in writing.
  • Work well in a team with minimal supervision.
  • Pay close attention to detail, troubleshoot issues.
  • Participate in team meetings, suggest process improvements.
  • Support collaboration across farm and irrigation teams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year related experience or education; familiarity with herb cultivation preferred.
Working Conditions

Prepare for outdoor farm work: standing long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., varied weather. Must interpret safety and operating documents, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
